October Giving Thanks Blog Hop

WELCOME TO THE OCTOBER “GIVING THANKS” BLOG HOP!
Hi everyone!  Thanks for playing along in our October blog hop!  EXCITING NEWS!  The Blog Hop with Sean & Regina will now be featuring Gina K. Designs stamps only for our monthly blog hops starting this month!  Most everyone we know are busy getting ready for the Halloween fun coming up on the 31st.  We spooked it up for you in our last hop, so this month we want to celebrate November by “Giving Thanks” to all of our followers.  To some “giving thanks” is the traditional Thanksgiving holiday, but to others to “give thanks” is to show appreciation to all those great family and friends in our lives.  So, our hop this month is to show you how different we all give thanks.
The blog hop designers have been busy creating a card or cards that we hope will inspire you to create your fall themed “thanks” cards whether it be Thanksgiving, Give Thanks, Happy Harvest or a simple Thank You.
OUR BLOG HOP SPONSOR!

Becky Oehlers is a member of the Gina K. Designs Illustrator Team! Becky’s style is really fun, crisp and clean.  They are used to make wonderful cards with just the right message or can be used to add some fun to your scrapbooking pages.  In addition, Becky is one of the best card designers and artists in the craft world.  Go to Becky’s blog to look at the great things she has been up to AND view the card samples she has created with her newest stamp set “Mistletoe Memories” that was released yesterday during the Stamp TV October Release Party.  Becky’s blog address is:  http://hemidemisemiquaverdesignblog.com/

CARDS SAMPLES FOR OUR BLOG HOPPERS!

I absolutely fell in love with this card when I saw Gina K do her rock and roll technique so I had to case it. For this card I used the new Gina K Tomato Soup pure luxury card stock for my card base. My first layer is also Gina K's Dark Chocolate Pure Luxury card stock then I used the layering weight ivory for my third layer. The stamps that I used for the image are from the Gina K A year of flowers stamp set. The sentiment is from Gina K's Springtime Silhouettes stamp set . I used Momento bamboo leaves and old olive for the leaves, and cantaloupe and morocco for the flowers. I also used Momento rich cocoa marker for the center of the flower. For the shimmer on the flowers and leaves I used Sakura Gelly roll pen the color is Clear Star. I always like to finish my cards on the inside as well, even if its just a layer of paper and some ribbon on the inside. Please leave me a comment and click on the follow button to be eligible to win the blog candy from Becky.

Lovely bright and colourful card Linda. Nice to see a peek of the inside too.
PS Love your tidy craft room. Must have tidied it up after you made your card eh?

No Ina this is how my craft room looked when I first finished it... Now there are a lot more things on the shelves...lol although I do tidy it every time I leave it because it drives me crazy if I dont I dislike walking into a mess before I craft It would just make me want to clean ...I think I might be a little OCD lol.
